MEDFORD, NY – A man was killed as he crossed North Ocean Avenue in Medford on Tuesday evening, Suffolk Police said.
A man was walking across the roadway at the Masonic Avenue intersection when he was struck by a 2003 Honda Civic heading south at around 10:20 p.m., police said, adding that he was taken to Long Community Hospital. Island in East Patchogue where he was pronounced dead.
