The following accurately researched chronology of documented events in the Monamy family of Guernsey and London was published in the Monamy Exhibition Catalogue, 1983. There is only one error in this account, lined through in red.
The term Marine Artist on the catalogue cover was inserted without my knowledge, and is, of course, incorrect. Monamy was a painter, not an artist.
